If you are staying at the Conference & Retreat Center, food service is available to you at one or more of our dining venues at each mealtime, seven days a week. At Phillips Center, in the heart of the ACV campus, you will find the Ann & Quinton Rumph Dining Room, where delicious buffet-style meals are served in a beautifully appointed setting. Lunch is available every day to members, guests and visitors. At other times of the day, the Dining Room is free to be reserved for dinners and concerts in the evenings. It is a large space which can accommodate anything from meetings to wedding receptions.
Also in Phillips Center is the Lopin’ Gopher Deli, which serves breakfast and supper seven days a week. Soups, sandwiches and ice cream for dessert are standard fare. The Deli is named for the LOP&G railroad that served Dowling Park from the turn of the 20th century through the 1950s. Patrons can order food at the counter and enjoy it at the adjacent “Horton’s Landing,” a casual dining area named for the old Dowling Park ferry landing. Featured in Horton’s Landing is one of Advent Christian Village’s art galleries, which generally features artwork by a resident member or staff member.
At the Village Square is the River Landing Bistro, a quaint dining venue, offering indoor or seasonal riverside dining. Whether to join a friend for coffee and an omelet between errands, enjoy a workday lunch, or to gather with the family for a casual evening meal, the River Landing Bistro is here to serve you.The Bistro is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays for lunch; and on Friday and Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
ACV Dining Services offers a variety of standard fare suggestions, individual menu items, meal plan choices for most types of gatherings, as well as suggestions for more formal dining events. Select from one of our many meal plans or we will customize a menu especially for you. We have a place — a venue — for all occasions: formal, casual, large and small.
